Has anyone found a way to prevent Aurora from deleting text characters in the adjustment column in the sales comparison grid without mannually locking each field each time.

Each Time I use the "123" button it allows me to type in text, then if I go to the comps powerview, if there are any calculations for any rows, all text that was typed in previously is erased.

You probably have to right click on the field when entering data and "override number format"

Uncheck the 123 box. When you use that, you are telling Wintotal that you only want numbers in that field, not letters.

the text that just will not stay.

I have tried both the 123 button, override number format and have asked tech support many times. They say it is working as designed.... BS.

If you use the comps powerview, detailed view and make a single adjustment... all text is deleted.

on a tangent, I noticed that the room/bed/bath and GLA actually allow text and it doen't get erased, not the adjustment column but where the numbers go.

any other ideas ? It seems that the brains on this forum are better than tech support....
