Hi,

I got a request to add the listing page to a report.

Do you print the MLS to PDF 1st, then add it to the PDF.

or

Do you save it as a .JPG and then add it as a photo.

Both of these methods work, but some appraiser out there might have a better way ??

Thanksm

I would just send seperate PDF. If they insist it be attached, use Adobe to join the two PDF files.

I am not an Ala Mode user, however.

They want it in the report.

So, this time I saved the MLS as a .tif file and then added it as a map.

I can read it, in the final PDF report but the print is not that sharp.

Anyone ?

Print it to pdf, save it in "my documents," click "add" on the tool bar in Aurora, select "pdf" and you search and add to the report. very simple process. you can add a title to each page too.

Tom,

If you have a scanner....try it. Click the "Add" icon, "document from scanner." It should automatically add the MLS page.

Make sure that the printout from your MLS is not copyrighted.

If you can, you want to keep the MLS data in a vector format like PDF. That will keep the text razor sharp and keep your file size down. As soon as you convert to a bitmap format like .tif or .jpg then you are dramatically increasing your file size. It's basically the same as pasting a huge photo on the page.

What he said - simplest way, best copies. Just make sure your MLS allows it. Ours will only allow the "Customer Copy" - not the "Agent Eyes Only", which shows closing costs, fees, etc. Our board is ADAMANT that information not be copied to anyone who is NOT a board member. Failure to comply can and WILL result in suspension.

Use one note

If I understand you correctly you want to add a "picture" of the MLS sheet to the report? Do this: Add a page like the "plat map" page to your report. Change its name to whatever you like. If you can get microsoft office one note. It takes easy "snapshot" pictures of anything on your screen and you can just paste it into the plat map page. I use this every day and its SUPER fast. Good luck!:peace:
