Does anyone know a link or links for adding one's name to the roster or panel of the major commercial banks that send out bid notices for commerical appraisals?

Getting on this list of a commercial lender isn't the same as getting on the list of a residential lender. My advice is find out who you need to speak to at the lender, then speak to them.

Dawn you are a licensed appraiser? In my market it would be difficult for a licensed appraiser to be placed on a commercial approval list without both samples of work product and a personal relationship with the lending department.
Do you have a mentor or are you on your own?

Generally the person you will want to contact is the chief appraiser of the bank. They shouldn't be too difficult to locate with a few phone calls.

We get a lot of calls here asking to get on our list, but we have trouble enough finding work for all already on the list. You may find this is common these days.

Valuation75,

What are the good jobs you are referring to?

I agree that having those designations probably won't hurt in getting assignments.
