Here in Newaygo County, and I am aware that Cheboygan County has the same cutbacks, roads will not be plowed unless there is 4" or more on the ground. Road crews are not allowed to work overtime, so no plowing is being done overnight.

School in Newaygo County is cancelled today - because the roads did not get cleared.

Hubby was out yesterday, in his 4 wheel drive, and the slush/ice took the front tires and he lost control coming over a hill. Crashed the truck. Within two miles of home - what is it they say, most accidents happen within 5 miles of home?

Just wondering what the other counties out there are experiencing. If this continues, school will go on till July.
