"Building Class" question

Am trying to determine how the appraisal district categorizes houses by building class. My community is small (fewer than 50 houses), all on 1 acre lots. The "building class" varies from 10C, 10D, 11, 11A, and 11+.

I've read what I can find online, but still don't understand what criteria are used to determine building class.

Can anyone help?

Call your appraisal district and they can help you. The codes generally aren't mystical.
