7 reports to finish writing this weekend and then on to my daughters for Christmas with her family and later visiting my brother and mom.

Looking forward to the break.

Turned down one $2+ million dollar house that “had to be done by the end of the year”. Just no room in the schedule.

Orders are already piling up for the 1st two weeks of January.

But after the break, I can handle it.

Merry Christmas to all. :D

I quit appraising for the year at 5:15 PM on Thursday, flew to Brunswick, Maine yesterday to spend ALL of Christmas week with the kids, flying back home next weekend to tally up the totals fo 2002 and prepare for 2003, for which I've already booked into the middle of the month.

To quote an LO "How can you possibly shut down for a full ten days? Don't you realize how busy we all are?

My response was "Happy Holidays, see you in 2003." :!:

The same to all of you at the Forum. :!: :!: :!:

Mel,

Sounds good - I am envious. Thanks for the card and I hope you got ours in return. I will be working this week just not answering the phone. Commercially I'm booked to the end of February. I can't even turn them down. Tell 'em I'm eight weeks out, double the fee and still say they'll wait. 8O

Anyway, happy holidays and maybe we can get back down your way and visit the Dillard House again on my next bed and breakfast assignment. That sure is some good food.
