I was down there yesterday measuring doublewides and such. I took a picture of the lighthouse and decided to share it with all you fine folks. (You other folks too)

I love that lighthouse. Everytime I see it I think of wreck diving off Hatteras. I'll be seeing it in April. I'm going out with John Pieno on the Flying Fish looking for Megalodon teeth.

Warm up the boat!

I'll do that. I pretty much dive all year between Charleston and Hatteras. We usually spend a week in Ocracoke in July. If I lived where you are, I would never get any work done.

Supposedly, a megaodon's length is about 10ft per inch of tooth. I'm glad these boys are'nt still around.

Is that the lighthouse that was moved? I remember a documentary were they showed how they moved one back from the edge as the shore line kept receding.

Yes they did move it. Very slowly.

My family and about five to six others (friends & their families) rent two huge cottages over Memorial Day weekend. We drag two or three boats with us and fish each day. We have the best time down there.
