Anybody know of a decent, cheap, or free DCF program that I could download?

Looking for a better option than that old HP...

Well, no, but you can set up your own using a calculating table in Word Perfect & I assume Word has something similar. I have subdivision tables that I plug in a cash flow and discount rate and bingo. Ditto for other income streams like royalty payments.

I've used various canned dcf programs over the years, most of which are expensive. But for the past number of years I just use Excel and keep different templates for different situations. Excel is very flexible and powerful and works well for me. If you have Excel, I'll email a dcf file for you.

I use @value software and am very happy with it, it is inexpensive and very flexable.

You can download a demo.

You can do just about anything with Excel. The problem is understanding it, so it will cost you a $39.95 book. If you can get an easy DCF sofware at that price and that's all you need, well...
