I bought wintotal..the whole package including he field stuff, and even bought the recommended HP IPAQ ( which is still in the box, now). I never got the Wintotal program to work. They even sent me the wrong instructions with it. Apparently they sent me the wrong disk.-an outdated beta version. I called repetitivley and they just kept trying to fix it, rather than have it uninstalled and send me a uncorrupted program.

I bought Clickforms, because I couldn't get any reports out. I was able to actually install and type up a SFR report the same day.

The day before my contract was up with Alamode/Wintotal, they finally had me unistall the program and install it. I think I probably would have worked, but I didn't try it, because they wanted me to "buy it again/renew my contract. NO WAY. They wouldn't even extend the contract I had, knowing I never got to use it.

Wintotal also runs in the background even when you are using it,, slowing your computer down.

Either way you need to have a 2 way firewall. Clickforms trys to upload my file when ever I close it. Wintotal has access all the time.

Ditto those remarks!

I have used both. I liked alamode when it was a dos version, but when the windows version came out I switched to Clickforms and have never looked back. Tech support is great, but I rarely ever need it vs. alamode which I could not have functioned without.

Clickforms hands down and much less expensive as far as I know. I recommend alamode to all local appraisers!

Steve got it... local being the operative word (humor intended). Actually I have recommended Clickforms to several local appraisers. Just trying to be funny.
