I've got a client who is requesting their case number on EVERY page. My current configuration shows the file # on the top right of all primary URAR pages, but no file # on the addendum, photo, map, plat pages.

How do I configure Wintotal to show a file # on every page. Is it an option in configure or are there special addendum, photo, etc pages with that field? I've searched and cannot find addendum, photo or map pages with a client # field. It's late, what am I missing?

Thanks.

There should be two cells in the upper right corner. One for file# and one for case#. Use them for whatever you want (the FHA case # for insance). The data should automatically transfer to the same cell on each page. If it doesn't perhaps you need to go into cell preference and tweek it.

It seems to me that's what lenders used to want a few years back.

My problem is the current photo, map, plat and sketch addendums in my reports don't currently have file # or case # in the upper right hand corner. I assumed there were other addendum forms for photo, map, plat etc that would have these fields, but I can't find them. The header on my addendum pages only has Borrower/Client, Property Address, City, County, State, Zip Code and Lender fields.

I appreciate your quick reply.

You are correct, Jeff, there is no field for it on the pages you mention. If you have platinum, you can call tech support now. If not, and the report has to go tonight, the only thng I can think of would be to manually add it on the title line of each page. I just tried that (out of curiosity) and that works. It's not as pretty as if there were a field, but it gets it on the page.

If you do call or email alamode, I would be curious as to the answer.

Thank you Bearslide,

That is in fact what I did. I'm running the old Athena Enterprise version of Wintotal and am wondering if the newer Aurora version has updated addendum pages with file number fields in the upper right. I know other software providers have these fields on all pages, but I'm surprised Wintotal doesn't, even on an old version. If this doesn't fly with the client, I'll call tech support and let you know what I find out. Thanks for your assistance.

LOLOLOL - I am so non-techy it's not funny. I use Aurora, and there may be some setting that allows what you want to do, but I don't know what it is. But you bring up a good point and should let alamode know about it. If one client is requesting it, sooner or later, others will.

If it's not available in Aurora, the coming Armstrong version may have it.

In Athena go to:

Info at the top of the page

Filing

On the right side of the pop up - you will see a drop down menu that lets you choose what file number appears on the page.

Your file number will appear at the top of all pages when you save it to a PDF. You will not see it on the screen while working - save to a PDF.
