Came across Comp Track Systems. It is a database management system operating on a Microsoft Access platform.

Anyone using this or any other program to manage land or commercial comparables? I am trying out the 90 day demo and am more than impressed. It has depth in the type of comparable forms from land, retail, offices and multi-family. The multi-family data base allows for a full rental schedule.

The outstanding feature is you can select comps and they can be ordered 1 through what ever and merged into the Word Document.

The program has open architecture so it can be tweaked and customized.

It also has forms to collect expense info.

I looked all over in Shareware and Real Estate sites and could not find anyone out their offering a similar system. I have seen Filemaker used for comp management and I know some set up their own in Access.

Hi Doug,

Just as an FYI I have developed several custom comp check/storage systems using Access and Microsoft's more robust database SQL Server. The data and access to the data can be local (on your PC) or Web based so that you or your customers can access it from anywhere. There are huge advantages to custom solutions.
