I was working in WinTotal yesterday and when I went to call up my comps, the database was empty. Any suggestions to recover this data?

  • 5/14/03 - I had comps in there for a year and now they are all gone, not just the ones for the last appraisal. I have reimported some from appraisals still in the system.

Did you save the comps to the data base? If not just open the appraisals you have done and save the comps to the data base. You can also go into the tech support assistant and restore damaged data bases. If you don't know how to do this...call tech support and let them help you.

You can also repopulate your comps database using the Import button at the top of the database. Just choose which folders you want the database to pull the comps from and it will load them for you.

There should be a way to repair the database before you do that though.
