I am an idiot. I posted the question without thinking. I will take some FHA classes. Thanks for the advice.

I keep one of those little Army surplus folding shovels in my car for situations like this.

 really?

Now THAT folks is how you step in with a practical joke as a new poster!

Did an FHA appraisal in March, new home on a slab. Was no problem going FHA or at least no problem I was made aware of. I believe if the home has a crawl space it is recommended to be 18 inches which would allow for access to maintain and repair ductwork, etc.

Um...never mind, I can't. But I want to. I will just watch.:new_popcornsmiley:

Boyd is small time, as usual. What you need is a track hoe and a few blasting rounds. Go big or go home.

So, I assume the subject can not go FHA, is this correct?

I have to assume you are not qualified to do an FHA appraisal if you are asking this question.m2:

Please find a class on doing FHA appraisals before you find yourself on the wrong side of HUD.
