Just saw on the local news that the State of Connecticut filed a lawsuit against Countrywide Home Loans today on subprime mortgages. This make the third state to sue them. B of A has said they are willing to cooperate with the state and will try to help the homeowners that were effected and in foreclosure by Countrywide.

YEAHHHHH! This is just the beginning of what they deserve!

Just wait

When state pension funds start to tank due to the losses suffered beginning with the subprime meltdown, you can dang well bet that many more states (at the urging of their screwed retirees) will be looking for blood. I'd also look for at least a few states to start seeking longer prison terms for folks who commit mortgage fraud.
