Continuing Ed - Florida

Hi everybody. I got a card from some CE company not long ago, that advertised their continuing ed classes in several separate sessions, such as, USPAP such and such a day, so many hours, etc. They indicated that you could take one, two or three - they didn't care. Also for 2 days the price was something like $169 or something. Also, I did attend a FREAB meeting and have the certificate, but don't know what ''portion'' that might apply to. I am trying to not have to go three days straight do to work loads, nor do AI want to drive very far, so am trying to scramble now and put something together. Did any one get that one? I can't find the little post card they sent me.

Judy, I got a couple of cards from different companies too. But I think the one you are talking about is McKissock. They have a website, you can check there for the classes.

No, unfortunately this one was not McKissock. It was one I never heard of - of course it could be a ripoff. Mckissock does have more classes than SteveWilliamson does. Do you know him?

Yes, that was one of the cards I also got, another was Bert Rodgers, he has correspondence courses too.

I got the Bert Rodgers card. I looked on their web site....I'm still holding out hope for online CE. Frank - do you know the progress of that? It was approved by the state legislature, but Bert Rodgers says they have sent in their stuff for approval but haven't heard back yet.

I'm holding out for the online/correspondence classes, too. My card said it would be "any day now" and that they'd send out books in May to everyone in Florida. HOW COOL CAN LIFE GET????
