Here lies Countrywide, one of the nation's largest mortgage thingys.

Back when lenders could own AMC's they were one of the biggest.

Hmmmm, They still want to refinance my 11.475% 40 year mortgage???? I haven't pinned down the fees they want to charge yet, though?

We call'em Countryside around our office, (see previous mentions of their stock price for the last year).

I do feel bad for a large group of the frontline employees who were victims of the American Home Mortgage implosion. As is always the case, many suffer for the crimes of a few!
