About one year ago I spoke with someone from the OREA, California, about a link on their site. According to this link, an appraiser could receive 1000 work hours for a valid Broker's license, and up to half of their remaining work hours using AQB approved courses. At the time, the OREA rep. I was speaking with thought this was true, but had no idea how to acutally execute the coursework part of the offering. Does anybody know more about this? I know the Broker's license hours in real, or at least was. I haven't heard about anyone receiving credit towards hours for coursework. Any help? thanks!

I'm pretty sure that the AQB ruled that as not acceptable, but can't remember where I read it. Probably was ruled out with the 2008 rules anyway.
