Couldn't happen to a nicer, or dirtier, bunch of folks.
They're telling their investors that 100% of their appraisals are reviewed.
They have one "review" which consists of checking that the report has
3 Sales, Photos of Subj & Comps, a Map, and a Signature.
Got all that?
OK then.
It's been reviewed....

??? Why am I reminded of that famous line:
~~~~~~~~~~~ It depends on what the meaning of the word "is" is.
from the Investors perspective 92.5% "TROUBLE FREE" Loans......$22Billion orig
"acceptable risk"
disclaimer: not a shareholder
FUNNY MONEY EXTRAPOLATION:
EVEN if the portfolio hit $220Billion with 10% default/ 90% "good loans" there would be no buyout
It's all about the $$$$$ not the borrowers - acceptable risk always has been, always will BE about the money.
Once upon a time my brother and I was crawling across a field trying to hunt geese. Perhaps 30 yd from where we could have gotten a shot, their little heads went up...my brother whispered "Did you ever feel yourself slipping?" They flew away without us firing a shot.
