Good concise article, hope next time we can get it into RTD. Thanks George and Mr. Turner. Bauger (a good guy) but in his own office only imho!

For real estate appraiser George Dodd, the brick rancher in Chestnut Hill, a subdivision in Chesterfield County, was not unlike thousands he’d seen before. About 1,200 square feet with three bathrooms and one and a half baths, built in the 1970s. Several home sales nearby — in a typical cookie-cutter subdivision — from which to draw comparisons. Came in about $150,000, remembers Dodd. He sent the appraisal to the lender and went on to the next job.
