Looks like NAR has much more serious problems to deal with than phony "hate speech".

Its about time.

The NAR (subsidiary of Core Logic) is a monopolistic parasite on the real estate business and I hope the DOJ nails their hides to the wall. Won't happen but one can always hope.

Actually NAR has been sued many times over the years on similar issues. They have to many politicans in their pockets and nothing will happen -but they will pay a fine and thats all the FTC wants anyway. Almost all of these govt agencies are shakedown operations and support themselfs by making cases and settling for millions of dollars of fines.

There is big money interests on the other side of the complaints against NAR.

This will have the same effect on the NAR as a corporate tax has on GM; however, you may notice an additional expense in small font for “legal services” in your annual Realtor dues.

It is only a matter of time before the buyer agent commission rule gets taken down. This is tech companies vs NAR.

Not really a problem for NAR since as they say, “Most of the changes seek to more explicitly state what is already the spirit and intent of NAR’s Code of Ethics and MLS Policies regarding providing information about commissions and MLS participation.” Fundamentally this story was over by the time it was made public.
