There must be an easy way to do this but I sure can't figure it out...

Our group just switched registration/license names as we are becomming a more independent group from the big dog's group. The company name of the big dog prints on the bottom of all formas by default. we want to change that to print the new name of our new group on the bottom of the forms. I have many templates/clones and would hate to have to start over putting these together.

I know tracking is involved as when I make the change, either I bring oup an error that disallows the change or the computer freezes.

Any ideas?

You can keep your templates. But it sounds like you need to call ACI and pay for a new license?

The computer lockups are another issue. Maybe ACI tech support can help in either case.

We all paid. It's all legit. The change was made through ACI. The template footer won't change to the new legitamate name.

Suzanne-

The footer has to be typed in and match the name they have on file when you register your software. Call ACI back and they can switch the name for future appraisals, but the old ones you are probably stuck with if you clone the report to a new one.

Thanks all,

I found that if I took a new report with the new name on it and extracted the data from the old report and saved it for use as a clone/template... that worked and was pretty painless.

Thanks for all of your suggestions.

This is a great forum.
