Sitting on my bed and shook me for several seconds. 7:15 or so a.m. Earthquake sites are saying preliminary 5.8 magnitude southeast of Ponca City near Pawnee and damage reported. Suspect considerable damage if so as I am 150 miles away. Houston and Sherman, TX tweeted felt, lots from Arkansas and very noticeable DT Tulsa, claiming 20 sec or more.

Oklahoma appraisers write those caveats. Would not be surprised if you get reinspection requests. If so look the sheetrock over, all brickwork, foundations, etc. Goodpasture reports felt strongly, they are 20 miles from epicenter.

Just saw this mentioned on CNN.

Glad you're safe.

They are saying the quake was shallow and spread to several states.

Terrel,
I like how you incorporate a story of a natural disaster right into a business opportunity!
The sign of a real businessman.
Glad your safe.

Not serious here but considerable damage in North Oklahoma. It's a funny feeling. There was one in 2011 we felt while at my desk. My monitor tried to walk off the desk. It was about 60 miles south of this one. These are felt for miles because we have hard rocks unlike California where the softer sediments means you might not feel a 5.6 quake 40 miles away.

Glad you're good. All the best for those closer to the epicenter

Glad you are safe Terrel, I hope our Florida friends are as well.

I'm miles from it, no problems here. It collapsed some rock and brick veneer and one guy was injured when the fireplace collapsed.

5.8 is a pretty good rocker. Hope its not too bad.
