Anyone know of any online providers of online commercial qualifying courses (general sales, income, & cost)? our local school has zero enrollment for these so all have been cancelled. I need these courses and thought if I could find a provider, I could petition our Board (AZ) to consider accepting these as distance education. thx Brad (bmazerolle@cox.net)

Does your state allow for online qualifying courses? Many don't.

Not for what I am looking for at this time. However, there is process which would enable me to apply for their consideration in this regard.

Even if your state would allow commercial qualifying education online, I don't think anyone offers it. I know AI doesn't; I don't believe McKissock does either.

I don't think I would have wanted to tackle advanced capitalization online.

Just me, though. I have to work very hard to master mathematical concepts. I am much more of a language guy myself.

You'll have to take all the courses out of state like the rest of us had to. Each and every commercial class was a week long, at least a 6 hour drive, and required a hotel stay. Just the nature of the beast.

Because I know what you'll say next...yeah I was busy too, and it was inconvienent, but that is the price of admission for the dance. Wait till you take your MAI courses and comp exam...now that will ruffle your feathers.

Do CE courses for a Cert. Gen license have to be commercial courses?

I was in Chicago last month, KS in two weeks and Philly in September for classes... class, hotel, food... It comes out to 1200-1500 per class. you have to spend money to make money I guess. I have been trying to find classes near old friends but the classes are not too easy so sometimes it's better to get a room an study.

I hear the new Cert Gen test is very hard so you might need the commercial classes to give yourself the best chance.
