So I get the below email today.
The email was sent to a long defunct email account that still forwards to my current email account. While I'm certain that I have completed work for Client "Embrace" at various times over the years, I can't recall ever hearing of Settlement One Valuation or The Appraiserzone?

Do any of you folks know what the heck any of this is all about? Shall I assume that they are merely phishing for Appraisers to sign up for this panel?

"Hello Kitarkus,

Embrace Home Loans will be joining SettlementOne Valuation as a new client and we need to confirm that your account is up-to-date before they start placing new orders.

Please login to your Appraiser Zone account at https://.com/ to update your documents and reply to this email with your updated schedule of standard fees; or attach an updated copy of your W-9, license, E&O insurance, schedule of standard fees, and county coverage to this email so that we can complete your account update.

I do work for settlementone. Are they out of CA? They've become a somewhat reliable and decent client. No idea how I ever got on their list.

Fees are typical for AMC fees, around $50 below C&R in my market.

Appraiserzone is a rip off, think it's a $14 fee for the privilege of uploading my report through them.
