I had a career in marketing and search engine optimization before the big dot com bust in 2001 and moved in to doing appraisals. I have taken a lot of my marketing experience with me and develop high quality search engine friendly websites for my appraisal business.

90% of all my work come from my online websites. I am just curious how many people are using the internet to market their online presence and how successful they have been.

I will also use this thread to help others get better rankings, so if you have any questions let em rip.

Bryan,
I need some help from you to get my website ranking where I want it to be. I just created this website few months ago. We used to host our own website for years and had great ranking. Always on the top 5. Our server crashed few months ago and I lost all the data on it including my old site. Am not sure where I should start from. Your help will be greatly appreciated, and I will gladly reimburse you for your time if you can make it happen.

[ORDER an ARIZONA APPRAISAL] - [ORDER an ARIZONA VALUE CHECK]

http://www.quickerservice.com/appraisal/about-san-diego-appraisers/

"We provide value checks at no charge and run value checks prior to setting up the inspection date/time with your client to let you know if there might be any issues before hand."

"Please use our online form to get your Arizona property appraised! If you would like a value check or a quote to appraise your property, please request a Value Check online and we will get back to you immediately."

Nice of you to offer Bryan. Question: what IS a "Value Check" and can you explain the procedure, who the typical respondent for that service/product to your website is and what conversion rate you experienced in 2007 from inquiry to an actual paid appraisal assignment was? Thanks in advance. :)

What I am now looking for is an auction platform to conduct static internet auctions. At the convention last week the speaker noted Maxibid, but I can seem to locate them. I am looking for the auction platform that is at http://wisconsinsurplus.com

Do you know where I can get that type of platform???

Thanking you in advance.

Ray,

Go to that website - http://wisconsinsurplus.com - and right click anywhere on the screen. Choose "view source" If you scroll to the bottom you will find http://www.maxanet.com/

You can do this on most web pages. It shows you the programming that makes the page. The author is usually somewhere on the page.

Thanks Pat. I learn something new every day. Still don't understand all this web stuff and I have been using it since the early 90's. Most of the time I think it is a waste of time and money.

I have a site by default since I use alamode. Checked it out once. As far as I know I have never received a job from somebody running across my website. We are a small office and all of my clients are local; many have been with us for years.

Bryan, we have a "run of the mill" A al Mode website, but I have NO IDEA how to generate more traffic to it. I keep changing "key" words on the page links, but I truly don't know how to generate more traffic.

Any advise would be great!
