What is really sad is that this will make a bad situation even worse in much of the country. I have friends in a number of tertiary areas, and the story is the same: the fees for smaller commercial properties have collapsed. Now, there won't be any fees at all.

The risk associated with commercial real estate is greater than residential and even greater in rural areas. What, require appraisals with tax payer money? Trust loan production? Stupid FDIC, they lost trillions before, they will do it again.
