FHA Approved Condos

If a condo complex is FHA approved is it necessary to track down all the project phase, unit, rental data etc...from these management companies? Does FHA underwriting require it? You would think if they are already approved this is repetitive. Had to pay for condo docs the other day.

Yes,

But did you know that on all FHA condos that are even in approved FHA projects, that the lender needs to provide FHA with a 51% owner occupied certification. They usually obtain it from the condo association management agent. On your next FHA condo you should request the certification from the underwriter. They have to obtain it anyway.

OK Mr Potato and RSW how come you are allowed to post responses under 10 characters? Is that priviledge reserved for Addicts only? Or is it because you put in gremlins too?
