Is there a means for an appraiser to verify a case assignment from the HUD website?

Have the lender FAX you the two page printout showing the property address, case number and your license number. Of course if they don't like your appraisal they can just trash it and input another appraisers number at the FHA Connection site while keeping the same case number.

If there is a situation that appears shady to me I just call FHA to verify that I am the appraiser for the particular case #.

What is that form called? I have asked lenders to send me the printout with the case # on it and I did not know what to ask for. I don't think they know what it is called either.

I have one right here, it says Case Number Assignment Results. It looks like a screen printout from the FHA Connection website since it has the http address on the bottom of each page.
