I heard a rumor yesterday from a Realtor who returned from NAR's convention in Washington, D.C. that FHA is eliminating VC sheets -
has anybody else heard this ? Truth or rumor ?

Joe:

I HAD heard a rumor that vc MIGHT be eliminated for FHA REO appraisals, I suspect this may have something to do with those long holding times for REO's for which (of course) the appraiser is ultimately to blame in everyone elses eyes

If they would rework the vc so it wasn't full of double negatives that would certainly be a plus. Had heard about potential modifications a year or so ago, nothing happening there  but never heard no nothing about elimination.
