Is anyone else waiting on FHA to update the roster for NJ? I sent my license via fax on 12/30/07. I was later told by this forum that they are updating the roster off of the ASC web site. I am good on the ASC but the HUD roster states grace period until 1/31/08.

No more roster as of 02/08/2008.

No more exam and any appraiser on the ASC national registry will be able to perform FHA appraisals.

Numerous post on here about that topic.

I am to become FHA approved and understand that there will no longer be an application and test requirement. Is this true???

How do you check if you are on the ASC National Registry??

Yes , I'm also waiting to be put on the roster, but with the new change going into affect 2/08/2008 of no test, (correct me if I'm wrong forum), but it still appears there will still be the FHA APPRAISER ROSTER and you still have to send in an application to be put on that roster, the only difference is that you don't have to take the test, just be licensed or certified , and on the ASC registry and you should be added. Some others posted that there will be no more roster, but according to how I read it, there will still be a roster.

Check for your name here on the ASC NATIONAL REGISTRY http://www.ASC.gov/
Top left corner click on National Registry
Then Submit query.

So, to the insiders, what is it - no roster, or no test?

I have no clue what might be true (eat your heart out Rev Al)

called HUD and was told there would still be a roster. I was also told that if you are not on the lsit you would need to apply and there would be no test.

Five other people have told me five varriatons of what they were told.

Now you know there will be no test, it will be so easy to get some rest.
If you want to play you must apply, just tell the truth and tell no lies.
HUD says there will still be a roster, but no test to take and good will
will foster.

Just join the list with the names a plenty, hope your orders will be too many.
