Is a termite letter required on a brand new home built on a slab(no wood to earth contact) I know it is required, my question is Is it a condition on the VC sheet? Does the appraiser call for it?
Thanks

This is what I use for just about all of them:

"Structure is at or near ground level. No noted obvious infestation. WDO inspection and report would be ordered by the Lender/Client as necessary."

Of course, this changes as necessary.

There is a proof of soil treatment letter that is required on new homes that the builder can furnish. Most builders have the soil treated prior to pouring the slab and have a certificate from the pest control company.
