For more good links go to the "Appraiser Links" tab at the top of the AppraisersForum page and then to the Fannie/Freddie tab.

That link is to the Fannie Mae guidelines that expired yesterday. The new Fannie Mae guidelines that did go into effect yesterday can be downloaded at:

http://www.srappraisal.com/FNMA

Down load the 4_12 file. The other file is the old property and appraisal chapter (the same as your link).

Depending on your printer, the new guidelines are around 40-50 pages. And after down loaded to your computer, can then be searched using your find function.

There is a forum here on Appraiser's forum for discussing the new guidelines. Check it out. Okay everyone, how many of you have read Chapter 1--Appraiser Qualifications?????? Pamela has some excellant comments in that forum.

Your next homework assignment is to read Chapter 2---Appraisal Documentation.

Book reports are due by August 1st and a test might be given--so read carefully--and pay attention!

Mother has spoken--and see you all in two weeks!
