Hi Susan!

I actually saw this house (quite by accident) while in Chattanooga about 12 years ago. Even then, I thought to myself, boy I'm glad I don't have to appraise that!

There is an Institute book and coure on appraising difficult properties. This one should have a chapter all to itself !

glad it isn't in my neck of the woods.

Because if it was, you would be getting the order next week. :leeann2:

Two weeks ago, one of these flew over my house escorted by 3 black helicopters.

There's something similar out in the woods of the "outer limits" of Chapel Hill, NC. I tried to get a picture once, but it is difficult due to trees surrounding it. Besides, if I stay in one place too long to snap a shot, they may lock onto me with their tractor beam. The next thing I know I would be having flashbacks of being on an operating table surrounded by tall grey skinny men with large heads and small bodies.

Would you use square footage or rounded footage?

This House is Located on Signal Mountain

I drove by this house at least twice a day for 10 + years. If I remember correctly it looked like it was made of concrete. The stairs actually could be retracted into the belly of the ship. It is on a major road going up the side of Signal Mt, Tn and everyone in Chattanooga knows this house.
