I am trying to find a sale of a former RT in Knoxville. Is there anyone working Knoxville who might be able to help me? It supposedly sold in March of 2009, but I have no address and those in the know are not sending it to me (as of yet anyway). I don't know who bought it, so I'm in the dark looking for a flashlight... Your help is much appreciated!

I suspected that it may be one on Kingston Pike, but that wasn't it. I will fish around and try to find it for you. I am out of the office until monday, so I can't access our commercial MLS right now.

Thanks! I spent a good couple of hours doing a Google search of all the combinations of Ruby Tuesdays...sale...reopening..former...loopnet...and on and on and on... I found one in Ohio in about 5 minutes. Go figure!

I found a sale from RT to what looks like a car wash of an outlot in Knoxville, at that date in Loopnet. Search for all property types and enter Ruby Tuesday in the keywords box for that date range.

4416 Western Ave, Knoxville, TN. 03/09 @ $689,000. Ruby Tuesday, Inc. to TJ CAR WASH GP.

That's probably it. RT is based in East Tennessee, so there were many of their restaraunts around, and a bunch that have closed. The only ones that I could remember was the one on Kingston Pike and a few in the mall or other shopping centers, but when you mention that one, it is one that closed a few years back. I believe that the building was demolished after the sale, but I am not sure what is there now.

From the aerial in Loopnet, it looks like a car wash site. The deal appears to be a land purchase.

Are you looking for sales of Ruby Tuesday's because you are appraising one in Florida? If so, why TN? Why not restaurants in the local area?

Otherwise, please disregard!

Try contacting Dravid Braun at Braun & Associates In Maryville, TN. He is a CG and may be able to help you. I don't have his number right at the moment but you can Google him and get the number.

For everyone that was helpful in finding this data, thank you. Pete, not so much... ;-)
