I was researching appraisal websites in my coverage for ideas and found this one:

http://www.irishappraisal.com/

On the first page of the website in big bold words it says,

"Call Now For A No Charge Comp Check Appraisal!!"

LO's must be tying up their phone line and who know maybe there are getting business (things are slow) but this seems almost unfair to some of us trying to do this job right.

If anyone feels the same way feel free to vent here....for now I am going to think of a way I can get business with out giving out free appraisals....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Maybe a couple dozen of us should call his toll-free number for about two hours requesting comp checks for addresses in his service area. And do it for a consective number of hours and days. Comp check appraisals! Wonder where the work files are being kept? Or does he convert all to a full appraisal. Bet he does BPO's to!

I know those guys. The AG has been out of the business for years and got his licanse reinstated a few years ago. IIRC I did a review of one of his jobs and had to measure the house because it was off by several hundred square feet.

The son is the AL and was an order dispatcher at Greenlight Financial.

I guess people go into the world not planning on being a prostitute. But there sure are a lot of them out there...

At least with the content of the appraiser's website, the appraiser leaves little doubt as to the type of clientele that is being sought!
