I guess all the comps will now be marked as

Mint++++
A Diamond in the rough
Mr. & Mrs. Clean live here
Only for the pickiest
Bring your toothbrush
Needs TLC

You linked to a video by Joan Trice. Ye olde regression analysis? Joan's not so bad, except that she scares me when she say "automatically import comps from your MLS." The Realtors that fill out those listings are idiots. Garbage in, garbage out.

Someone in Georgia want to order a Free Comp Search from DAS and send it to the State ACLB?

A leading provider...with many years... must be another X-Site...

It is an X-site. do all those X-sites have the "comp check" option? (I'm an ACI user)

He must be a reader of our board, video has been removed

It may have been removed, but it will forever be burned into my brain.
The 48 hour turn time n Free Comp Check are still on the web site.

Thats not a bad thing. I don't know the guy but he seemed decent enough and there is a very good chance he has no idea what he is doing can be construed as suspect. As Mike Kennedy stated, "who trains these people?"

Or maybe he is just polishing up....uhhhh....his...you know...uhhh...his speaking style.

Oh, BTW...good job to whomever posted Pam's interview on youtube.:clapping:

I don't want to beat a dead horse, ok, maybe just a little, but I don't understand how it would be possible to have the education necessary, including a minimum of 2 USPAP classes under your belt, to be come a "certified" appraiser and not know that comp checks, ball park figures, and other such nonsense are frowned upon?

Forget USPAP...

They can't grasp the simple art of proper punctuation on their web-site.
I'm sure USPAP was way above their heads.

Besides...if you don't understand the rules...ignore the rules...:rof:
