Hi all of you out there in Wayne's World,

This is a get well card for Harriet, the appraiser who fell and broke her back while measuring new construction.

Some have asked for her name & address to send cards......
Let's just post our best wishes for her full and speedy recovery here. Then I'll print out this thread and get it to her in the hospital.

OK?

Harriet:

Speaking as someone who has been there and done that, keep your spirits up and keep on keepin' on!

Injuries at your level are harder on the mind than the body, though it probably doesn't feel that way at the moment...

There are lots of people out here wishing you well and I honestly believe that this can help the healing process. Think of us thinking of you and feel it if you can.

Be strong for yourself and your partner!
(Advice for the bad days when you can't quite hack it on your own merits)

Bless you !

Harriet,

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hearing about your accident has made me slow down and take more care. You're on our prayer list at church and we'll be thinking of you and your family.

Let me know when you're ready and we'll line up some beach front cottages for you to measure. One bare foot equals 0.8 feet, all the roofs are new palm fronds and you're paid in key lime pie slices. 8)

Harriet,

May your recovery be a swift one. Lee Ann said it best, a strong mind and optimism are your best defenses right now. God bless you and your loved ones!
