In case their kids need encouraging, Littell’s cups come with macho names: “Hammer,” “Boss,” “Hog” and for really big men, the XL-sized “Mongo,” a salute to the ogre-like character in the movie “Blazing Saddles.”

Well, umm, the gals don't know this but cups really do suck. When I played football I'd pull mines out after the cup check (you'd have to knock knock for the ref's if asked) or kickoff. As funny as this article and video are this is serious business.

Protect the boys.

What's the size of your boys?

As someone who plays a little hockey twice a week, the cup stays on. Pucks hurt. :new_smile-l:

From the MSNBC link: Injuries to the scrotum tend to take care of themselves after bruises, swelling and bleeding. A severe hit can twist the ******** around, damaging it so much that in the worst cases it would have to be removed.

Yeah, those kicks in the 'nads just give us an excuse to lounge around and booze it up for a few days. You ladies don't know what you're missing.

That guy could charge a hundred bucks a piece for those things, but if my kid needed one you bet he'd have it. Might not be a bad thing to have when working around certain types of livestock or horses which can kick. Younger brother of a family friend got kicked right in the wanker by his pet horse. Caused some permanent disfigurement. (Must have been quite a shock when it happened)

Hear hear! I'll play without a helmut...cup and elbow pads are the most important pieces of equipment. Cup cause you might need it...elbows cause you will.
