Just a reminder as I posted this in the clients section a while back. Guilford Mortgage in Guilford, CT. should be COD under ALL circumstances.

I had a working relationship with them and, in an effort to keep their business, agreed to invoice them for appraisals. They did pay, but right off the bat they slow paid and it took an average of 6 months to be paid for appraisal work. Then they simply stopped paying owing me around $3,000. They did not return calls or e-mails and when I finally reached the owner and demanded payment he acted like I was out of line and behaving unprofessionally! LOL! After threatening smalls claims, collections, and a complaint to the banking commission he did eventually pay up in 3 monthly payments of $1,000.

Anyways just ranting but if you work with them heed my warning. COD or no deal!
