Lessee ..

Grew up with this internet/digital growth .. do it all, mostly *.pdf ..

Lender left message today: " .. CALLED AND WANTS ORIGINAL COLOR PHOTOS FOR XXXX OVERNIGHTED TO THEM - "

Without getting aggravated, what's the best words to tell this clerk that they're digital photos, have never been printed and are included 'in color' in the *.pdf appraisal that they received three months ago?

Just say, "No, Thank You, The pdf is an original document and their inability to print in color is their problem." You did print to "pdf", just like you print to a printer. You could tell them they are the only lender in the world that will not accept pdf. Plus, three months later is not your problem, it should have come up before now. Unless, it is a good client, then give them what they want.

Refer them to Fannie & Freddie. Both say digital photos are perfectly acceptable. As photos in a PDF they are still digital.
