I was wondering if anyone out there is familiar with IRC(International Residential Code)?
I am appraising a rambler-style home where the landscape slopes downward to the back. There used to be stairs leading down to the ground level which is several feet below the back side of the home, however they were removed by the owner.
The Subject lies in the city of South Weber(Davis county). City and County both conforms to IRC. The door leading to the outside of the backside of the home is not barred or closed off in any noticeable way. Does anyone know if any IRC rules/guidelines apply or are required for this situation?
Thanks,
N
