I understand that Congress has asked the GAO to review FIRREA, investigate how it has been implemented, and how it's working now, and report back. Re: Lenders, Appraisers, Mortgage Brokers, etc....

Now's your chance to vent, let it all out ! What have we got to lose ? It seems no one else is listening to our problems. The more info received from others, the less investigating they have to do. Write to them and explain the problem areas. (all mentioned on the Forum) Things that can be mentioned are, The Foundation, State Boards, Lender intimidation, Inflated values, AVM's, Deminimus level, etc.. What are you waiting for ? There's your audience & opportunity.

This is great information. However, I can not confirm the address with GAO. They say the RCED 1 H & CD number is a document report number that has already been written. What is the original source? Can you please re-confirm. I would like to write.
