Home Inspector Fixated With Hot Water Heater

When our pastor sold his house the home inspector missed the stained ceiling from a leak and several other items. But he claimed the Marathon hot water heater wasn't code. Held up closing several days. That wasn't a very bright inspector... the most energy efficient heater on the market. You would think an inspector would have heard of them.

This thread is very interesting as I have done 2 appraisals this week that had one of those water heaters. I haven't seen many of them up till now.
