Homeowner Insurance appraisal

Does anyone have much knowledge about this topic? Very interested in this and would like to know about general complexity of appraisals, any cost estimators you may or may not recommend, etc...

I know that Marshall & Swift has an insurable cost estimator.

preciate' it. I was looking more so for some knowledge about the process itself and something that I would want to "edgemacate" myself in for future worse market conditions with little lender pressure. In your opinion, is M&S the best bang for the buck?

Most insurance companies use RS Means for 'reproduction' cost.
