I have wondered this for some time. As a group, most of the posters here seem to be the cream that has risen to the top of their fields. I would love to know what the cumlative years of experience can be found on this forum.

So, how long have you been appraising?

Me, 10 years.

Have been appraising ever since getting my broker's license over 26 years ago.

Every day, an adventure.

Almost 16 years. I still love it (most of the time) and can't imagine doing anything else.

My college major was Sports Medicine, I was a trainer and travelled with the varsity teams. I don't think I could be doing anything more different. Oh how life can change!

Sneaking up on 25th year, seems like 150 years - tired, worn-out, cynical,
and sarcastic, but I love my job - besides, I don't have anything better to do (for at least the rest of the day).
