I hope you can help me.
I am trying to get a scanned image of my license into a form on ACI?
I call the helpdesk and the little girl that I spoke to said that I could not enter an image into the forms!!!!
Can anyone assist me?

We keep our licenses in a Flash canister, but you can import you license file directly. We put our license in an Extra Map page. Right click in the center of the map page, Click on Aquire image, Open Galley will pop up, click on Open from Image file, browse to the image file of your license (if you don't see you file make sure that the correct type specified where it says File Types at the bottom of the browse window ours defaults to jpg/jpeg/jfif if you click on the drop down you will see Tiff / Bmp / etc.)

We keep the license for everybody in the office in a canister just to make them easier to find.

It best if you can scan the image as a jpeg file and save it in a file.

In the ACI reports open a report. You can add an Extra Image Page through add/remove forms.

Once you have this form go to it and right click on the body of it and then choose insert map or aquire image (either one will work, actually inset map will be less steps).

If you go to insert map - just go to where your jpeg file is and click on it and it will be added.

If you go to aquire - you will need to need to click on open gallery of image files and then go to where you save your jpeg, it will then open a thumbnail and you can click on it and it will be there.

It is faster to just click on insert map.

Hope this helps.

Good Luck

Thanks so much for the quick reply.
I don't suppose that ACI would consider that oversight a drawback!
I just can't believe that there is no form for a license!!!
Thanks again.

Scan it and save it to a file, typically one that the scanner software automatically picks up. Create a template (the help file for "templates" explains this clearly) in the report go to a map page (any one, but the software always places them numerically so if you put it on map page 1 and decide to place it after map page 2 in any report, it will not be allowed) {by the way, you can put in as many map pages as you like}. On the blank map page, right click your mouse, go to "acquire image", in the next frame click the 3rd one down "open gallery of image files", in the "look in" box find the folder where your image was saved, double click it, click "ok" and it is on your page. Save the template and it will always be there. If you need any further help, do not hesitate to call me (770) 517-3133 & I'll be glad to come to your aid.
