Go to the Hewlitt Packard website, it should be on there under HP-12C

1) clear register
2) enter data on y axis, then enter
3) enter data on x axis, then E+ (digit right of period)
4) Continue until you finish entering the data
5) Enter the y axis data for which you want to find the x axis data
6) Press g2

I just took the general sales comparison approach class last week, and we went over this in class. There were a few questions on this topic on the exam.

Here's how you do it for sale price and living area. Your subject is 2,500sf and your comps are:

$225,000 for 2,250sf
$236,000 for 2,712sf
$212,000 for 2,014sf
$250,000 for 2,600sf
$195,000 for 1,980sf
$275,000 for 2,897sf
$220,000 for 2,325sf

Hit the orange f key and then CLX

Now put $225,000 in and hit enter then input 2250 and hit that whacky looking key just to the left of the "+" sign. Your screen should read 1.

Do the same thing for each of those numbers above and the screen will change with each one to two, three, four, etc.

Now enter 2500 hit the blue "g" key and then the "2" key and you should get $237,613.355
