Inferior license? Do you think that AMCs or most clients care about license level; do you think you get more work as a CR than a Licensed appraiser because of your CR? Your license is inferior to mine, would that mean I would get more work than you? The market does not care about license level when it comes to mortgage lending.
Agree. Most clients that use CR only do it out of convienience. Do not have to worry about value of transaction, FHA or not, complexity, etc. I have various clients that have a standing policy only to use CR. But I still get a decent amount of work from them. Even though I am only licensed

You don't serious believe the economics for the AMCs are bleak, do you? If it made better financial sense for AMC to be engaging fee appraisals for full reliable/credible appraisal products, those are what they would be promoting to their clients.
do you tell your clients what type of appraisal they want to order with you?
