As Greg knows I was floating around E Arkansas yesterday and today (T,W) and was working on a mineral and surface estate {thank you Greg and Melissa for finding me some info....I didn't get it all done but I have to be back in Searcy next Friday anyway}

I inspected the subject which is about a section of land and an old house. Not clapboard with tin roof, but Elly Mae would be pleased with the crop of dogs going in and out of the house thru the window. Old very old and yes...Grannie was there. All we needed was Jethro and Elly to show up - and there is an Elly Mae. I tried contacting her but she had gone fishing according to her cell phone.

This is the new crop of rich folks in the hills. They have a well drilling S of them, another already done, and one drilling NE and another to the N under construction. They were offered $750,000 for their mineral rights...and they'd still own land worth maybe another $750,000 or more. I bet it won't change a thing...but I bet Elly Mae can buy that Brand New Zebco 33 she's always wanted. Frankly, I wouldn't have it any other way. Its nice for po' folk to come out ahead every once in a while.

Yeah? So where are the pictures? LOL

Sounds like a real nice American dream story, Terrel.:clapping:

I don't want to give too much away..but note in the one the 4wheelers, sleeping dogs and Confederate flag hanging on the pole shed..and of course, the junk.

The other - the open window is how the dogs get in the house...stinky little terriers

And they live on Moonshine Road...

That's classic! :rof::rof::rof:

But...they are smart enough to place this in an LLC and disperse some of the money to save on future taxes when Granny dies. They're the salt of the earth kinda people. I found myself identifying with them as just good country folk.
