When you are a corporation the size of Zillow you normally have a hundred or more lawsuits going all the time for different reasons *** With numerous corporate attorneys working for the company this is a non-event and they are not going to lose *** BUT they may pay some dumb-*** back water attorney $25K as a go away fee to get lost.

Maybe not.....many too big to lose Titans with armies of attorneys have lost big bucks in class actions. I have walked into many a home doing a refinance where it was mentioned that "Zillow" said or according to Zillow. If googling an address, Zillow is now trumping NAR in search engines. A class case could possibly be made by the many who tried to refinance based upon Zillow estimates only to lose their money in fees and applications because of faulty zillow estimates

I actually like Zillow for everything . . except estimating house values.

They are responsible for about half of appraisal complaints. No website should do this. It gives HO an unverified guess. Computers cannot do appraisals. They fail. They can't select comps, they cannot think like a buyer.

For everything else they are great

how many loan officers have turned prospective borrowers away based on a Zestimate that was potentially lower than the actual value.
